On Saturday June 20th the first annual Off Road Truck Show at Castle Park in Riverside, CA was held. There was a great turn out that had the parking lot filled with highly modified rock machines along with a few desert race trucks. Judging took place to take home the big trophies from various categories and it was good to see that the two Nissans that were in the show both took home trophies. One to Mike, who you may know through the Rugged Rocks message board as “roastbeef” who won “Best Streetable Rockcrawler” for his Black Straight Axle Swapped Nissan Frontier. The other went to myself with my Straight Axle Swapped ‘90 Nissan Pathfinder for ‘Best Lifted Import’ even among all the Toyotas. It was a good fun day at the show and i look forward to next year and I hope to see a bigger showing of Nissans there as well.
